i. Don't use plastic
bags or coverings for storing leather, because they
can cause excessive drying. Instead, protect stored
leather with cloth.
ii. Don't store leather in hot areas, such as attics,
or damp areas, such as cellars.
iii. Don't place leather garments in direct sunlight
or heat for prolonged periods of time.

i. Store your leather
coat or jacket on a well-shaped wooden, plastic
or padded hanger.
ii. Remember that leather breathes - that's what
keeps it soft and supple. Store leather in a well-ventilated,
cool, dry place.
iii. Keep in mind that wrinkles and creases in leather
and suede generally will hang out.
